This page is maintained by the MailSort team to answer common privacy and security questions about MailSort. It describes how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our service.
2. Information we collect
- Account information you provide (name, email, password).
- Gmail account connection metadata when you authorize access via Google OAuth.
- Application usage and notification activity to operate the dashboard.
3. Gmail data & Google OAuth
MailSort uses Google OAuth to connect Gmail accounts. We never store your Gmail password. You can revoke access at any time from your Google Account settings or from the MailSort dashboard.
4. How we use information
We use collected information to operate, maintain, and improve MailSort, authenticate you, display your connected accounts and notifications, and communicate service updates.
5. Data sharing
We do not sell your data. We share limited data only with infrastructure providers (e.g. Supabase) required to operate the service.
6. Security
Data is protected with row-level security, encrypted in transit, and isolated per user. Access tokens are stored securely and never exposed to other users.
7. Your rights
You can update or delete your account at any time from your profile page. Disconnecting a Gmail account immediately removes its access token.
